This International Yoga Day, Let's Give Back!



International Yoga Day is Friday, June 21, and all around the world, we will celebrate this practice which we love and appreciate dearly. There are so many ways to celebrate, so here are a few we suggest!

1. Share your love of yoga with a friend or family member in need!

If you're reading this you are already a yogi and believe in the power of getting bendy or setting daily intentions. Chances are you also have a friend that could use an introduction to the practice. Share Yoga Wake Up with them! We have a FREE trial! Or take them to a free yoga class in your neighborhood. There are so many great community events on this day or this weekend so find one and get on your mats.

Remember that yoga isn't just about the physical practice so practice kindness, acceptance and gratitude and share those loving actions with others!

2. Donate to a yoga cause!

3. Do a gratitude meditation.

We have so many beautiful meditations on the app to remind you of all that you have such as Grateful Morning Meditation​ by Leila Dylla, Three Tokens of Gratitude by Ali Owens, and Gratitude by Emilie Perz. Remember how blessed we are to have access to such a special practice that you can call on whenever you need a boost!

4. Be in service.

Volunteer at your local shelter. Clean up your neighborhood, practice random acts of kindness with a stranger or a friend. Yoga is the ultimate selfcare practice and one of the best ways to feel good is to be in service. Want to learn more about this?
