Fall is Here and that means Pumpkin Spice EVERYTHING!
Philosophie's Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Recipe
Who else has noticed that the PSL is out early this year and Trader Joe’s now has pumpkin spice EVERYTHANG! We’ve got something just as good, if not better, over here at Philosophie HQ. This pumpkin spice smoothie is the ultimate fall goals. It’s tastes like leaves changing, chunky sweaters, and the crispness of the air all in a drinkable beverage. It’s so good.
If you’re in the mood for something sweet, but don’t want to indulge or fully dive in the sweets then I highly recommend this fall smoothie. In addition to our nourishing + fueling Berry Bliss Superfood + Protein Blend, Green Bee Honey and Coconut Dream Coconut Butter, this beaut was made with one of my favorite fall fruits - pluots! Pluots are a magical seasonal fruit that is the mix of a plum and an apricot.
This smoothie can also be subbed with persimmons for the pluots if your feeling those instead! I have an insane sweet tooth and if smoothies like these that are seriously satisfying, but also full of delicious nutrients.
1 C almond milk
1 frozen banana
2 pluots or persimmons
1 tbsp Green Bee Honey
1 tbsp Coconut Dream Coconut Butter
1 tbsp almond butter
1/2 C organic pumpkin puree
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
Mix all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Top with pecans and granola (optional). Cut open and scoop out the contents of a pumpkin to use it as your cup for an extra fall flavor and fun!
